Casilino General Hospital, Rome – 2006

In 2006 the Policlinco Casilino in Rome was the first hospital to offer a Baby Hatch to anyone who, for any reason whatsoever, may feel they can’t go through the full process they are entitled to by law, i.e. to give birth in hospital in safety and anonymity.
